Just watch - I can't say it any better than Gov. Christie.
Chris Christie for President!
Supreme Court's decision in McDonald v. City of Chicago usurps local control over public safety (Rep. Bobby L. Rush)
The link above is to a blog post by US Rep. Robby Rush of Illinois. In the first paragraph, he refers to the majority in this opinion as "activist judges". Apparently he doesn't realize that activist judges are the ones who interpret the Constitution as they think it should have been written. In this case, the majority interpreted the Constitution as it is written (...the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.). How could any rational person argue that any part of our Bill of Rights does not apply to a local government? We should all pray for the people of Illinois.
If this doesn't demonstrate the utter lack of rational thought by freakazoid leftists like Rosie, I don't know what does. Here's a great a idea: let's seize the assets of one of the largest companies of one of our closest allies to make a political point. Many might want to write letters to Sirius XM to get her off the air. I say "Let her talk." The more she spews out drivel like this, the more rational people are likely to let reason overcome their emotions.
PARTY WITHIN A PARTY
Socialists ARE active within the Democrat Party - read about their "principles" and how they operate.

Thanks to Glenn Beck for providing this link on his TV show. Socialists are active within the Democrat party, as they have the right to be. But why can't they just be honest about it. They don't appear to be real big on disclosing who their leaders are. Why would that be?
Minn. students protest as part of school field trip

Charter school takes 7th and 8th graders out for a protest as part of their educational experience. Please note the sign being held by one of the kids in the picture - "Tax the Rich". The School Director basically admits to political indoctrination. Rather than teaching these kids that protests are the way to get what society "owes" them, wouldn't it be better to teach them about the potential that lies within each of them. Wouldn't it be better to teach them about the inumerable examples of folks who have overcome obstacles (even "social injustice") to achieve greatness. Maybe I'm just wierd, but I think that kids who are barraged with messages about how unfair society is & how the cards are stacked against them are probably less likely to develop the skills they need to be self reliant.
School song's cost: $140,000

"Congress shall pass no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;..." - actual text from the First Amendment
The words above are all that appears in our Constitution in relation to freedom of religion. "Separation of Church and State" is a legal principle inferred by judges from these words.
It's perplexing how the part of that statement before the comma has been completely perverted, and the part after the comma always seems to get overlooked. Our courts constantly deny local governments and idividuals from publicly expressing their religious beliefs (banning of Ten Commandments from a courthouse, banning Nativity displays on public properties & banning student-led parayers at commencement ceremonies).
Apparently you have to be a pin-headed legal scholar to not understand that: (1) the prohibition is on Congress (as specifically stated) - not State or local governments or school boards, and (2) it prohibits a government-sanctioned religion (i.e. the Church of England).
Couldn't these kids just have requested not to participate? Of course that action wouldn't have been as profitable.
